Community Engagement at Headcorn Surgery Open Day |

Kent Police were pleased to attend the recent Headcorn Surgery Open Day, alongside a number of partner agencies including Age UK, Maidstone Borough Council, Golding Homes, and Kent Police's Fraud Prevention Team. A particular highlight of the day was the attendance of one of our Volunteer Equine Officers and her horse, Broadie, who proved extremely popular with visitors. Broadie helped create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging residents of all ages to stop, chat, and engage with local services. The event provided an excellent opportunity for members of the community to discuss local concerns, receive advice and support, and learn more about the services available to them. Representatives from all attending organisations were on hand to answer questions and provide information on a range of topics affecting local residents. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout from the community, and we would like to thank everyone who attended. Events like these play an important role in strengthening relationships between residents, the police, and partner agencies, helping us work together to keep our communities safe and supported. #CommunityEngagement #Headcorn #KentPolice #VolunteerEquineOfficer #Broadie #NeighbourhoodPolicing #AgeUK #MaidstoneBoroughCouncil #GoldingHomes #FraudPrevention #WorkingTogether #KeepingKentSafe
